Rentapen Inc.’s, Design Engineering Manager, Blake Peterson, returns to college to expand his knowledge in Business Management.
Rentapen Inc., located in Waukesha, WI first hired Blake Peterson in December 2011. Since then he has decided to go back to college to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
Peterson already has an extensive background with management experience; however, Peterson decided to further his education in business management to understand more of the financial side of the business.
For the past three months Peterson has been guiding the Design Engineering Team as it focuses on reducing costs for manufacturers through lean weld fixture design. He has also been working with the Leadership Team to enhance Rentapen’s RAPid Tooling Components™. RAPid Tooling Components™ are an extension to Rentapen’s mission to save manufacturers costs.
“I enjoy the challenges of tooling design and being part of the Leadership Team. Rentapen has extreme potential and I intend to help lead Rentapen to a more successful future. I want to see Rentapen become the U.S. Leader in machine design and tooling components,” said Blake Peterson.
Rentapen has added five new customers in February while maintaining the good quality 3D Design service that customers rely on.
Rentapen recently added the service of providing custom alterations to their RAPid Blocks™ and RAPid Plates™. Peterson assisted the Leadership Team in implementing this new service that saves Rentapen’s RAPid Tooling Components™ customers time and costs. In addition to saving manufacturers time and money, the new service will keep tooling lean by reducing the number of times the part is handled.
“We have a culture of constant learning here, and we are always pleased to see team members continue their efforts to gain more knowledge and skills,” said Susan Straley, President and Queen of Lean Machine at Rentapen Inc.
