CULTURE STATEMENT

RENTAPEN is only as good as its team members. We aim to hire and retain the best with an emphasis on those with: a positive attitude; integrity; ownership; an openness to change; drive; joy; and a willingness to speak up. Together we strive to reach our goals and maintain our mission.

A Positive Attitude
We focus on our goals and mission. We are ambitious, driven, enthusiastic and energetic. We view challenges as an invitation to learn and grow. We have faith in each other and our ability to reach our goals.

Integrity
Professional. Reliable. Trustworthy. Honest. We are respectful with each other, our customers and vendors. We aim to under promise and over deliver. We do what is right, even when no one is looking. We are worthy of the trust that our customers and our team mates have placed in us. Our corporate integrity is a critical asset and we are committed to upholding it. We set high standards, and we abide by them as we practice business fairly and behave ethically. We share our expectations with each other and strive to maintain a workplace built on mutual values, trust and goodwill.

Ownership
We ask when we don’t know. We willingly share what we do know. Each of us takes responsibility for delivering an error-free product on time by making sure we do our part to the best of our ability and communicating freely. We allow for redundancy in order to ensure accuracy.

Open to Change
We are flexible. We are constantly improving ourselves and our processes. We delight in learning new skills, improving ways of doing things, and creating and following systems that reduce costs and errors. Any road to success has some turns along the way. We do whatever it takes to reach our goals.

Drive
With our mission and goals constantly in mind, we are determined, focused, energetic, enthusiastic, resilient, and forward thinking. We reach out beyond our walls to attract new customers, new work from existing customers, and new talent to help us reach our goals.

Joy
Work is fun. We believe work should be enjoyable. We enjoy the learning, enjoy the process, enjoy our progress as individuals and as a group, enjoy the comradery of the team. Though committed to our mission we remain light-hearted and able to laugh at ourselves and with others.

Willingness to Speak Up
Management maintains an “open-door” policy. Like a family, we are united by an unspoken pledge, bound by our convictions. We prize dedication, and are moved to help each other and our customers. We are true to each other and to our cause. We feel free to introduce ideas, question authority, ask when we don’t know or are not sure, seek help from others, and discuss issues to constantly improve communication, processes, systems, products and services.
